Birthday Week

Ahh this week!

 Well im officiall no a teenager... what the heck thats not one bit fair! My birthday went by well, on Monday night we went to the grocery store (ps al of the grocerie stores are comparatively the size of what i remember from cheveron at home, they basically sell the same things as well, the essencials, alcol, and lots of beer!) But i made a bunch of french toast, for myself and Elder Trujillo, then we had a nice feast of french toast and i officially took out the gifts that i got myself, wich were a soccer jersy and a tub of chocolate covered almonds! Loved it! ha but for those who were wondering it was good! Then we just went back with the normal routine of the mish, thats how missionaris role, work work work untill the job gets done!

  SO this weeek, well about thursday i had a little bit of stomack problems, so they were pretty long days, but it all ended up clearing out.  Sunday is the day all of you want to hear about anyways. This sunday out stake (Mocambo) had a special steak conference, this region of mexico had a live broadcast from good ol Salt Lake City, once of the 70 talked, a counsellor fo the Ref society pres talked and then Russel M Nelson talked and President Monson toped it all off.  TO be honest it was a good conference,  IF you thought my add was bad in english its about 18 times worse in spanish so i was in and out of the whole deal but i did learn some good things, just not exactly what they were talking about haha, but thtas how the spirit goes ya know! SO to the more exiting part! Javier got baptized after the stake conference.  THis was the 2nd most crazie baptism i hvae had to date in my mission, the craziest was Avas baptism in Park city when we flled the font with buckets of water because we didnt have the keys.  BUt some dippie doo let the water out of the baptism font formt he night before, so when everybody was ready for the service to begin right after the conference we realized that we hade to refil the dang thing! (just about all of the Piedras Negras branch was in attendance) THen the freaking elders form paso del tor (THe other half of our current district, with who we were hvaign the service) Forgot thier freaking clothes for the baptism so they had to go to thier house 45 mins away to get thier freaking white clothes.  (By the way we live almost 2 hours form the stake center) BUt the service turned out great, i ended up planning it all out while we were waiting for these, it turned out well, we had enough members there so that no missionaries had to lead or pray of talkand it was great to just sit and watch the baptism go.  Rosio and tomasa ended up going to the conference with us, my heat jumped wen i saw them approach the bus! We wernt expecting to see them at all, it was truly a miracle!  Im so glad that they had an opportunity to hear the church leaders.  WHen i was talgn to them on the bus ride home they siad they know Tomas Monson is a true man of God and the others are true as well, WOW wit was soo amazing it made me so happy to finally see them make that progress! We are plannign to baptise Tomasa this weekend and Rosio will take more time because she want to get baptised with her husband who basically lives in Mexico City, so hopefully things work out for her! So Pray for things to work out for them! 

   AAs for me, today we didnt do anything for Pday, i just stated my wash (Put my colors ina 5 gal bucket with soap) and just slept all day, its lazy i know but it felt soo good to finally take a pday to rest! Now we really want to do what we need to do to get as many peopel to coem with us to conference in a a few weeks as we can! SO pray that we can find a bunch of people to take to General conference sessions and also that we can start getting a bunch of people to church.  THey say that if we can get about 60 more people coming to church thery are going to build a church building here!  THat would be amazing to help that come about, so pray that we can do our part to grow this branch into a ward! BUt im good, just pray that i can have energy and the spirit i need.  I love you all, thank you so much for your support and words of encouragement!  I hope all goes well for everyone!
