14 February 2011

Ohhh man what a week. still not suer what to see so we will see how it goes..
So this week has been a little rougher, the wetaher had been so beautifull, we have been recieving the cold fronts form the north and its been a dream. SO this week we found a few more potentials, not to sure how they are gonna go but we will see. Julian and Beatriz got marriedthis week, that was neat, it was just a civil marriage so all they did was sing papers, but that basically the first marriage i have been a part of. . SO now we are hopin to baptize julian the 26 of this month. He is expectign to feel some kinde fo change or see some kind of change so hopefully the Lord will bless him with what he needs to get to the water. THen we have Javier, we wernt able to meet with him this week, but we are also praying that he can be baptised the 26th, pray that all that needs to happen can happen for that. We got permission from his grandparent (his legal gaurdian to say) so take the lessons , so that an all systems go, now we just gotta have the time to teach him. THen Alfredo and Rena, the backed out of the Free marriage thing, so now we are probably going to have to convince them to separate or something before we can make any more progress with them, so we are homing what needs to happen with them will happen. THen we have Timotea, he is one from last week that i said ill tell more next week. Neat guy, rough life. His wife left him a few months ago and he had been to AA so it was divine to finde him. HE lives with his daughter(15ish) and his son (10), we have only taught him the restauration and the 10 comandments, so we are still working with him, we really need to get him to church, he wsnt able to go this week because of work, so hopefully form now on he will be able to go! THen we have Alfredo(30ish), really neat guy, he was part of the Mexican army, and then he lived in Florida for a while, he can talk alot. In fact we hav eto teach him a little differently so we can actually teach, but he has read the restoration and he even did the questions in the back, so we are putting alot of hope in hime as well. But because of work its also going to be a struggle to get him to work, so we are praying that we can be blessed with days to get him to work. ANd thats about anybody who is doing anythign right now. So we are working to keping things moving along in the investigator pool, as dad always said "if your not progressing your digressing" SO doing what we can for them. We fnally had a chanece to go and see the other branch we are in charge of (ITs hard to see both because we have to take buses and its an expensive bus ticket) the city Mixtequia looks the same as here, the branch is the same size, but they actually have a church building (We just have an ex-house thing, so when we baptize we can go to Mixtequia or there is a pool in the city that we can maybe use). It was nest to be there , but i dotn know if we will be able to work there much, so we will see.

SO as for me, id sya i feel good. Tryign to keep my self and my companion motivated takes alot. THis are has really required ALOT of pacience. THe area book doest have any dates between Us and 2009, so lots of cleanign up. Speaking of cleanign up, me and Elder Trujillo complety cleaned the house inside and out, we bleached\pinoled everything, every square inch, so now our house is the cleaneest in the mission. ANd we even cut the grass outside... with a machete. Here they dont have lawnmowers , they do it all by machete. SO that would be the hardest thing i have done if it wasnt for daggum roofing.. and maybe a few other things. But its really neat to see our house look more like a house. Id say its the best house in the whole mission that i have see so far, now we just gotts get our hand on a few good hammocks! ANd this week i have really been taking alot out of D&C man what a neat set of scriptures, i love how often Jesus CHrist says , "be of good comefort and of Good CHeer", has anybody notices how often he says that and "your sins are forgiven of you"? I cant think of any better example then that! I think for me as a person\missionary one of my beggre weaknesses is pacience for answeres, or basically when soemthing isnt in the time frame that i want it i get frustrated, its like the Jim Gaffigan skit when he talkes aobut ordering food, how its gone to just saying numbers to get what you want and it will everntually just be a noise. Do you think its possible we do that to an extent in our prayers. We aks for somethink and when we dont have it the next moment we get frustrated? SO right now im frustrated with learning this, but deep down im greatfull.... deep deep down. SO thats about what i cna think of. THanks for everything, any form of support maked the biggest difference, so thak you for your love and prayers!
