Food and a Baptism

Yestarday we recieved a flyer from a nearby church, and apparantly the world is going to end on the 20th of this month, dang who woulda thought!

SO that bee some of the comotion here, lots of people saying the end of the world is close, i guess we will see!

THis last week we baptized Sergio and Miguel.  It wasd a good bautismal service.  We had it in hte MIxtequilla building wich is almost an hour away, so that was fun! ITs hard having to go there because that usual means not many people are going to be able to go and see it.  But it was a good service non the less! At first Sergio didnt want to get baptized, but during the car ride to the church building arecieved a revalation that he was just really hungry and thats why he didnt want to get baptized, so once we got to the church building me and Elder Trujillo took him to a nearby bakery and allowed him to choose somthing to eat.  Oncce he ate he felt better and when he saw the baptismal font he went nuts he was so happy, he was really exited to get baptized and go in the water.  So we did the service and he and miguel got baptized, the funny part is after al the opposision we got to get sergio to get baptized, i had to pull him out of the baptismal font so we could continue on with the service and go home.  All in all it was a great service.  They were both confirmed yesterday and they will make great additions to the branch.  We havent been able to see anna much since she and monse got baptized, they havent gone to church since the were confirmed, so im a little bummed about that, hopefully they will start coming again.  Luis Julian has been a great convert, he is always so anxious to learn more about the church, right now we are woking with him to prepare top go to the temple, we gave him the octerber Liahona that was the special issue that talkes about all of the temples.  And we are also trying to re activate his wife so they can start going to church as a family.  We havent seen much of Javier since he was baptized, he has been in guadalajara visiting his parents since his baptism, so hopefully wi will see him soon.  Elder Trujillo has been sufferign with some stomache problems for the last few weeks so work has been a little slow with this impedment, but today he told me he is finaly ready to do something about it so hopefully things wil go better and we can work realy hard this week. I cant beleive it's already May. That's just really crazy to me! Thanks to all of you for your prayers and you support, I certainly couldnt do it without you, so thanks you so much for everything, i love you all!

P.S. anybody that has witten me in the last few months, i have a response letter written for just about all of you, i just havent sent them yet because i dont really trust the post office here, so dont think you have been forgot or abandoned, just waiting to finde a better post office is all! But i love you and thanks to those who have taken the time to write me!
