Group baptism at Veracruz |
Sorry for not writing last week, we went to Veracruz and then we had to get back and wash (wich takes forever to do here) and by the time we got done it was already time to head out ad work, we had to go to mixtequilla for a lesson so that took even more time from us.
But this week, we baptized and confirmed Anna and Monse, and since the whole zone (Bautizona) had a baptism president Hansen had us al go to Veracruz and baptize on the beach in fron of the temple! Man it was neat to baptize in the ocean, ill get pictures off as soon as posible! I thought the waves were going to take monse away! it was really such a neat experience to baptize in the ocean!
So as for the rest of the week, last week we knocked alot of doors, in fact i think we have knocked just about every door in Piedras Negras! But we have just been continuing with what we have found form that.
We found a guy named Vivero, or something like that. He was great during the lesson, he seemed really interested in what we taught. He answered all of the questions perfectly! He had to go out of town form saturday to wednesday, so well go check up on him wednesday. Hofefully he read and prayed,nd will go to church this next week, illlet you know!
Someone we also found is Laura. We finally got in to tech her the restoration yesterday. the lesson went pretty long because she talked alot, but she seemed to accept it ok. She seemed pretty exited to go to church next week, Ohalla for that!
Then we still have Sergio, we were hoping to baptize sergio this week. BBBBUUUUTTTTT he decided not to go to church yesterday :/ we ended up chasing him around a little so his mom could get him dressed and what not. So hopefully a milagro will happen so we can give him the goal of baptising the 30th.
This last week President went around the mission and tuaght us all and had made the goal for every one to baptize the 30th of April. So far we have the goal of baptising Sergio on the 30th and then Miguel.
Miguel is a reference from the mother of Sergio. He is a great guy. We taught him lesson one about a week ago, and never saw him untill this past thursday, We took him to a church activity on thursday and church saturday, he said he really enjoyed them both and is exited to go to church this next week. We have only taught him the restoration; and yesterday we taught him the Word of Wisdom. He takes to the lessons well, we ohalla that all goes well. By the way Ohalla in spanish means hopefully something will happen.. fyi!
And that's about all for Pierdras Negras this week. Thank you all for your prayers. I know God hears them and I see and feel that God is answering them. All things are possible through God, so in the words of Paul, "If God be for us, who can be against us?!" God certainly is for us, and I know that to be true. God wants the best for each and every one of us. I hope all of you are happy and can feel this unfathomable force pushing you on through your daily lives. I love you all and I pray for your well being. Grace be unto you. I love you. Hasta luego
