So crazy news!!!! We had transfer meetings on Wednesday and I got transfered all the way to Park City!! I'm not sure if I'm on a mission or a paid vacation, but it sure is gettting cold!
This transfer is going to be lots and lots of work, and praying and exercising that faith muscle. Right now Park City is a little slow compared to Kamas, so we are going to be working our [buns] off. I'm with Elder Wagner and Elder Miller. Together we all have 4 months in the field! Cool thing is, I have the most time out on the mission. Never thought I would see the day when I have the most time in a companionship.
Elder Wagner has been here for 2 transfers, and in the field about 3 weeks less than me, and Elder Miller is the same as Elder Wagner. I'm planning on applying what I learned from Elder Torres and Elder Hernandez to this companionship. We all worked so well over in Kamas. Since Elder Wagner has been in Park City the longest, what we do is pretty much up to him, so I will just be suggesting things. I'm exited for this transfer. It's really going to make me dig deep and decide what kind of missionary I am. I know the only way to do this is to be humble, patient, faith, and perfect obedience.
So we live in an apartment here that is provided by a member. My cleaning skills developed at Babbitt Motor Werks are paying off. I got the kitchen in order and I'm just gonna work from one room in the house to the next. It's nice to have counter space now. I'm hoping i can talk the mission office into giving us bunk beds so our little room can have more space so we can move things in the apartment around. Overall, it looks more spacious and a much cleaner environment. It willl take time and have some difficulties since my companions don't have the same expectations for cleanliness. But both companions are anxious to work and so we are just going to do our best!
There really isn't anyting else for this week, just the exitment starting all over again, haha! The Lord certainly doesn't like us being comefortable, haha! But I'm excited to be here in Park City... as long as im gone by the time the snow comes.... But thanks for everything. I love you all!
